Raj will never forget the summer of ’82.

While mum and dad work, Raj and his sister Renu stay home during the summer holidays and attend to the household chores. But they manage to transform these mundane chores into fun and amusement, especially after they discover their father’s secret stash of adult videos. Aware that the tapes are a big secret, they are careful to put them back before their parents return home – except on one fateful afternoon when Raj forgets. What ensues threatens to unravel his family and expose his family’s lie – that discontent and despair ultimately lurk just beneath their seemingly contented existence. Clean Linen is Raj’s story about the pain of growing up, of wanting what you can’t have, of hoping everything will be okay, and of learning that sometimes it isn’t.
